Signals Notebook has successfully integrated AI into various areas; in this article, we'll explore the different AI features that Signals offers.
Note: To use these features, you must have a Signals One license.
Text Extraction from Images (Implemented in version 25.10): Users can utilize AI to extract and search text from images uploaded to Signals Notebook. This includes JPEG, PNG, and TIFF files. This feature applies only to newly uploaded images while the feature is turned on. We recommend keeping the feature on once you turn it on.
Semantic search (Implemented in version 26.6): Semantic search is an AI-powered method of searching that focuses on understanding the meaning and context of a user's query, rather than just matching keywords. It leverages Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning (ML) to interpret the user's intent and deliver more relevant search results. The user performing the search must have a Signals One license assigned to them.
Prompt-to-filter (Beta feature): This AI feature allows a user in Advanced Search to create a filter using a natural language prompt. This filter is added on top of the existing filters unless the toggle to replace the current query is enabled.
