Signals Notebook: How to enable Ontologies?

Description

Ontology lists are created using the Data Source workflow. To start, Administrator needs to create a Data Source linked to one of the three available providers: BioPortal, Ontology Lookup Service (OLS), SciBite CENtree.

Steps

1. As an administrator user, navigate to Signals Configuration > Data Sources.
2. Click on 'Create Data Source' and select 'External Ontology Source' from the dropdown menu.
3. Fill in the following information:
 a. Source Name: an unique meaninful name for the data source.
 b. Ontology Provider: select the desired provider. (For SciBite CENtree additional steps are needed please refer to the System Configuration Guide under topic Data Sources > External Ontology Sources > Setting up an External Ontology Source in Signals Notebook).
 c. Ontology Name: GO for BioPortal, BAO for Ontology Lookup Service.
4. Click 'Create Ontology Source'.
