Description
In Signals Notebook, when performing a Copy Partial operation, tabs are dynamically copied based on the selected content. If no elements are selected for a given tab, that tab will not appear in the copied experiment.
The screenshot above illustrates that the Page tab is omitted in the copied experiment because none of its elements were selected during Copy Partial, while Content and Page 2 tabs are retained as their elements were selected.
This is expected behavior, not a defect. Tabs are only displayed when they contain copied elements.
Workarounds
If you need to retain specific tabs in the copied experiment:
- Include a Placeholder Element
Select at least one element for the desired tab during Copy Partial, then remove it manually afterward. - Use Copy Instead
Perform a standard Copy operation to preserve all tabs, then delete unwanted elements.
