Details: When adding a user to the Signals Notebook system, the error: “User already exists” can appear, this may happen because the user was once deleted from the system and the email used still exists in the Signals Notebook configuration even though the user is no longer active, or that another user has the same email address.
Solution: First you need to verify if the email of the user you want to add already exists, you can do that by following these steps:
1. Go to "System Configuration".
2. Click on "Users" smart folder.
3. Look for the email of the user you want to add by typing the email in the "filter" tab, if the user is active the email should appear.
4. To know if the user is inactive, go to the "Deleted" tab on the "Users" page, located in the upper right corner.
5. Look for the email by typing it in the "filter" tab, if the user is inactive the email should appear.
In the case that the user is no longer active, it is possible to reactivate it from the System Configuration, to do this you can follow the next steps:
1. Go to "System Configuration".
2. Click on the “Users" smart folder.
3. Go to the "Deleted" tab on the "Users" page, located in the upper right corner.
4. Find the user using the "filter" tab, and in the "Action" column click "Reactivate user".
5. A pop-up window will appear, click on "Reactivate User".
