Create and configure a workflow from an existing document

Prior to this task:

✔ Spotfire for Signals (item) must be opened.

1️⃣ Signals Apps page ➡ select  [Apps]
2️⃣ Apps tab ➡ Screening ➡ select an app*
3️⃣ Active App page ➡ configure parameters accordingly*
4️⃣ Active App page ➡ select Signals Apps*
5️⃣ Signals Apps page ➡ Apps ➡ select  [Create new workflow]
6️⃣ Choose the way to create your workflow ➡ select [From Existing Document]
7️⃣ Workflow Editor ➡ type Workflow’s name Category Description
8️⃣ Workflow Editor ➡ select [Save as Draft]

Supporting Knowledge

*Steps 2️⃣, 3️⃣ and 4️⃣ are performed for each app to be added.

The user can utilize this option when the process for the plate-based data analysis is not clear, and the workflow will be built based on the Apps that have been added and configured.

Alternatively, from the Workflow Editor page, the user can select the Published toggle, then select the  [Save and Publish] button. Also, from the Save Workflow panel, the user can add steps under the Instructions text box.

Note: When a workflow is saved as Draft, the workflow will be listed only in the individual user's internal list of workflows; when saved as Published, the workflow will be shared with others within the organization.

Note: The user can cancel the whole workflow created by selecting the  [Cancel] button.
