Add a Boolean calculated column from the Data canvas in Spotfire for Signals

Prior to this task:

✔ Spotfire for Signals (item) must be opened.

✔ Data must be loaded.

✔ Data canvas must be opened.

1️⃣ Data canvas ➡ Data tables ➡ select "data table name"
2️⃣ Data canvas ➡ select [Click to see operations…] ➡ select [Add transformations]
3️⃣ Transform data window ➡ Transformations ➡ select Calculate new column
4️⃣ Transform data window ➡ select [Insert]
5️⃣ Calculate New Column window ➡ Expression ➡ enter Boolean expression
6️⃣ Calculate New Column window ➡ Column name ➡ type new column name
7️⃣ Calculate New Column window ➡ select [OK]
8️⃣ Transform data window ➡ select [OK]

Supporting Knowledge

The expression must be a comparison to produce True or False as a result (e.g., [Concentration]>5).
