Edit an import file format from SciStream Manage Formats of the Data Import app

Prior to this task:

✔ Spotfire for Signals (item) must be opened.

✔ Data Import app must be opened.

✔ An import file format must be available.

1️⃣ Data Import – Analysis tab ➡ select [Configuration]
2️⃣ Data Import – Configuration tab ➡ select [Manage formats]
3️⃣ SciStream window ➡ select [Add…]
4️⃣ Open window ➡ browse and select file(s)
5️⃣ Open window ➡ select [Open]
6️⃣ SciStream window ➡ select [Manage Formats…]
7️⃣ Manage Formats window ➡ File format names ➡ select import file format to edit
8️⃣ Manage Formats window ➡ select [Edit…]
9️⃣ Edit File Format window ➡ Layout ➡ modify accordingly ➡ Columns ➡ modify accordingly
🔟 Edit File Format window ➡ select [Save] ➡ select [Close] (This last close action is taken for the Manage Formats and the SciStream windows)
