Add a manual annotation(s) to a plate design from the Grid Plate Editor app

Prior to this task:

✔ Grid Plate Editor app must be opened.

✔ A plate design must be created.

*Required.

1️⃣ Grid Plate Editor – Analysis tab ➡ select [“plate design name”] ➡ select [Edit plate design]
2️⃣ Grid Plate Editor – Design section ➡ Add annotations on this layout ➡ select [Manual Annotation]
3️⃣ New Annotation window ➡ type/select Name* Description Data Type Annotation class
4️⃣ New Annotation window ➡ select [Add]
5️⃣ Plate grid area ➡ enter/copy-paste annotation value(s) to cells
6️⃣ Plate grid area ➡ select [Preview]
7️⃣ Grid Plate Editor – Plate section ➡ select [Save]
