Add an information item(s) to an Experiment template from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ Experiment template must be created.

✔ Information item(s) must be available.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [System Objects]
2️⃣ System Objects ➡ select Experiment
3️⃣ Experiment Settings pane ➡ select Templates
4️⃣ Experiment Templates section ➡ select experiment template
5️⃣ Experiment template ➡ select  [Add Content] ➡ select [“information item name”]*

*Information items available are: [Text], [Chemical Drawing], [Word], [Excel], [PowerPoint], [Image], [Spotfire for Signals], [File Upload], among others.

Optionally, the user can mark any information item as mandatory. To do so, from the Information item section, select the [Click to mark as mandatory] icon.

Note: Mandatory information items will be carried out through any copy operation, including via creation of a personal template. Mandatory elements cannot be excluded when partially copying an experiment. Mandatory elements can be trashed by a user with the Trash Mandatory Entities privilege.
