Create a custom Curve Fit Definition from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Analytics]
2️⃣ Analytics ➡ select [Analytics Definition] ➡ select Create
3️⃣ Create Analytics Definition ➡ type Name* Description (optional)
4️⃣ Create Analytics Definition ➡ select [Create]

Notes:

• Certain names are reserved by the system (e.g., "Linear Fit", "One-Site Binding"). If a reserved name is used, an error message appears and the [Create] button remains disabled until a valid name is provided.
• Only Draft custom definitions can be edited. An Enabled custom definition cannot be modified directly—create a copy to make changes, then enable the updated version.
• You can copy an existing definition as a starting point if your custom model is similar to an existing one—including a system default. To do so, from the Curve Fit Definition details view, select [Actions], then select Copy. From the Copy Analytics Definition page, provide a unique name, and select Copy. The copy is created in Draft status and is fully independent—edits do not affect the original definition.
