Following the divestiture in 2023, Revvity is contractually obligated to discontinue all use of the “PerkinElmer” name in its products. One key requirement of this was to change your Signals Line Listing Review URL (both for your DEV/UAT and PROD tenants). This work is being completed and you will shortly be migrated over to the new url’s.
Timeline
• End of Feb/Early March 2024: Activation of your new “Revvity” Signals Line Listing Review URL(s) as part of the 2024.1 release.
- your existing “PerkinElmer” URLs will be de-activated at the same time.
What will be the process and how might you be impacted?
- Your DEV/UAT and PROD environments will be updated as part of (rebranded) Signals Line Listing Review 2024.1 release
o These environments will be updated in two separate windows and dates will be communicated closer to the time
o You will not be able to access the environments during the updates
o After UAT (DEV) is updated you will not be able to use the import/export tool until the PROD environment is updated as well
- A new Spotfire package for sLLR 2024.1 will need to be installed after maintenance.
- Any shortcuts to the environment will need to be updated to reflect the new URL
o In most cases this is likely just replacing perkinelmercloud with revvitycloud
- Any configurations to SSO will need to be re-done
o If SSO is updated correctly the users will not need to be reinvited
- Some aspects of Spotfire (incl dxp’s) will need to be re-configured
o Work with Revvity R&D and support to address this
We consider this update to be a “once in a lifetime” event and want to provide all the support and information necessary to ensure a smooth transition. With this in mind, we kindly ask that you identify key personnel who can manage this transition on behalf of your users and organization.
More information will be communicated closer to the time.
