Revvity Signals is pleased to announce that Collections will soon be available directly within ChemDraw+ as a native feature of a Signals ChemDraw license. When this enhancement is released the stand alone ChemDraw Collections application will be retired and will no longer launch.
Key benefits of this enhancement:
- Access Collections directly within ChemDraw+
- Eliminate the need to switch between separate applications
- Bring chemical drawing and collection management together in one application
- Maintain the core ways collections are created, organized, searched, and managed
Most Collections functionality will be available in ChemDraw+. However, the following two capabilities from the standalone application will not be included:
- PowerPoint export from configured reports (SD file export will remain available)
- File explorer with embedded chemical object preview
If existing workflows depend on these features, alternative approaches, such as SD file export and manual presentation creation, will be required.
When Collections become available in ChemDraw+, all existing Collections data will be preserved automatically and made available. No migration or preparation will be required.
Additional details, including official release/retirement dates, will be shared as they become available.
If there are questions or assistance is needed in planning for this change, please contact the support team through the Revvity Signals Support Portal.
