ChemDraw: Unable to open the ChemDraw document due to the error "An internal error occurred Assertion "InWidth >0.0" failed in line xxxx

I am unable to open the ChemDraw document due to the error "An internal error occurred Assertion "InWidth >0.0" failed in line xxxx

It appears the ChemDraw document information was altered somehow (possibly when ChemDraw crashes during editing the document)and now your document contains some negative dimensions.

Please try the following steps to fix the problem.

1. Open the file in Notepad ++
2. Search for "BoundingBox"
3. If the "BoundingBox" has some negative dimensions like the following

i.e

BoundingBox="0 0 -32768 -32768"
Width="-32768"
Height="-32768"

4. Remove the above three lines
5. Save As the document with a different name
6. Open the newly created document in ChemDraw and re-save the document. This will recreate values with positive dimensions
