Create a new measurement type in Data Factory

For Administrators only.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Data Factory]
2️⃣ Data Factory pane ➡ select Measurement Types
3️⃣ Measurement Types section ➡ select [Create Measurement Type]
4️⃣ New Measurement Type ➡ type/select Name*  Description This measurement type describes*: Compound/Batch
5️⃣ New Measurement Type ➡ select [Create Measurement Type]

Alternatively, administrators can create a measurement type from an existing flat file. Follow steps 1–4, then from the New Measurement Type section, select [Create with Example], and select [Browse]. From the Open file window, browse and select measurement type file, then select [Open]. From the New Measurement Type section, select [Create Measurement Type].

Notes:

• The table is interactive, and users can modify the layout (e.g., which columns to display, column order) to suit users' requirements. The table can be filtered using measurement tags. The table is searchable using the Search field. The columns in the table are also sortable.
• By default, Batch is selected for the core entity selection ("This measurement type describes"). The terminology used here (e.g., Compound, Batch) correlates to the core entities defined in Data Factory based on the material synchronization.
