Configure a measurement type as details of another measurement type in Data Factory

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ Measurement attributes and tags must be defined.

✔ Parent and detail Measurement Types must be created.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select [Data Factory]
2️⃣ Data Factory pane ➡ select Measurement Types
3️⃣ Measurement Types ➡ All Measurement Types tab ➡ select parent measurement type
4️⃣ Measurement Type Definition ➡ This measurement type's details are stored against measurement type dropdown ➡ select detail measurement type

Supporting knowledge

Detail measurement types capture the component inputs that contribute to a final result (e.g., wells of an IC50). For example, the “Well-level % inhibition” assay can be designated as a detail of the “IC50” assay. In the Publish Results to Data Factory app, users can publish both the detail results to the detail Measurement Type (e.g., well-level % inhibition) and the main assay results (e.g., IC50 assay).
