The number of activations permitted is equal to the number of licenses purchased. A secondary installation is permitted but concurrent use is not.
Note: for a single named user license, there is one activation per name, but a second nonconcurrent activation is allowed. It is implied that the use of the software is one license at a time.
If you need to transfer your license to a new computer, make sure you deactivate the software from your old computer first:
1. Launch ChemDraw on your old computer.
2. Click Help > Activate ChemDraw (On Mac click the ChemDraw menu instead and then select Activate ChemDraw).
3. Make sure your activation code is populated automatically and select the Deactivate button.
To inquire about changes to a multi-user license limit, reach out to your Revvity Signals account manager or Support Team for assistance.
NOTE: If you are not able to deactivate the software as described above for any reason, there is another option on our Download Center to deactivate there. Someone with Admin credentials for our Download Center can login and use the "Obsolete Device" option to release the used activation. The steps can be found on the following page.
