- In ChemDraw (if prompted), select the Activation Code option on the licensing screen and select Continue:
- Fill out the required fields on activation screen and select the "Activate or deactivate by uploading a file" option (For older versions select More Options first) and click on the "Activate" button. You will be prompted to save a local .BIN file to some location you choose (e.g., your Desktop). Then close the Activation Dialog. Continue installing the software to completion, if you haven't done so already.
- Navigate to the following website: https://revvitysignals.flexnetoperations.com/ and log in with your Download Center portal credentials.
- Once logged in, select " List entitlements>Download Now>Offline Device
Management ". - Click the "Choose file" or "Browse" option (depending on your browser), navigate to your .BIN file and then select "Open". Then select "Send" to upload this .BIN file.
- A response file will be downloaded automatically to your Downloads folder.
- Rename the file received to “Response.bin”.
- The “Response.BIN” file should be placed in the C:\ProgramData\RevvitySignalsSoftware\FNE for Windows systems
Or /Users/Shared/com.revvity.chemdraw/FNE for Mac systems
For version 22.x in Windows the folder is "C:\ProgramData\PerkinElmerInformatics\FNE"
For older versions on Mac (22.x or older), or for older versions in Windows (for example for v21), use the folder with the version number instead:
C:\ProgramData\PerkinElmerInformatics\FNE\21.0 (for Windows) or
/Users/Shared/com.perkinelmer.chemdraw.21/FNE (for Mac)
**If you cannot see the "C:\Program Data" folder in Windows, please make sure the option to show hidden items is enabled on your file explorer:
For Mac, open Finder and choose Go > Go to Folder or press "Command+Shift+G". Then enter the /Users/Shared/com.revvity.chemdraw/FNE/ or /Users/Shared/com.perkinelmer.chemdraw.21/FNE (for older versions)
8. Then relaunch the software by right-clicking the ChemDraw icon and selecting "Run as Administrator" and the activation should take place automatically.
Note: The bin files used in this process are specific to the computer where they are generated. If you need to activate multiple computers using this method you will need to generate and upload one file for each computer.
