Configure the Publish Results to Data Factory app to publish data to the Results index

Prior to this task:

✔ Data must be loaded to Spotfire.

✔ Publish Results to Data Factory app must be opened.

✔ A relation between the parent and detail data tables must be defined.

1️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡  Project ➡ select [“project name”]  Select a Measurement Type ➡ select [“measurement type name”] ➡ select [Publish details Measurement Type] Data table ➡ select [“data table name”] Mapping name ➡ select [“map name”]
2️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡ select  [Automap]  Data Table Column ➡ define mapping manually (as needed)
3️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡ select Detail Measurement Type
4️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡ select Data table ➡ select [“data table name”] Mapping name ➡ select [“map name”]
5️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡ select  [Automap]  Data Table Column ➡ define mapping manually (as needed)
6️⃣ Publish Results to Data Factory panel ➡ select [Next]
7️⃣ Publish Data window ➡ review Publish preview ➡ select [Publish]
8️⃣ Please Confirm Publication Name window ➡ edit name (if needed) ➡ select [Confirm]

Notes:

• The Automap feature automatically aligns Spotfire data table columns with Data Factory attributes based on name matching. Manual adjustments may be required to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies after the automapping process.
• At minimum, all required fields marked by an asterisk (*) must be mapped. Required fields are determined by the configurations set when the Measurement Type was created.
• Step 6️⃣ validates that the data types being published are compatible with the expected Data Factory attribute types. If any incompatibilities are detected, a summary report is generated and users are provided with information to resolve the issues before proceeding.
• There is an option to republish data and overwrite (fully delete and replace) an existing publication. However, this requires the "Manage Inventa" permission, which must be assigned by an administrator.
