Add an information item(s) to a Samples template from the Signals Configuration

For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ A Samples template must be created.

1️⃣ Signals Configuration ➡ select  [System Objects]
2️⃣ System Objects ➡ select Samples
3️⃣ Samples Settings pane ➡ select Templates
4️⃣ Samples Templates section ➡ select Samples template
5️⃣ Sample template ➡ select [Add Content] ➡ select [“information item name”]†

Supporting Knowledge

• † Available information items include: [Text], [Chemical Drawing], [Word], [Excel], [PowerPoint], [Image], [Spotfire for Signals], [File Upload], and more.
• Supporting documents, images, or data files can be attached to sample records using the file upload option.
• The append template option can be used to incorporate properties from existing templates.
• Consistency across related sample types is maintained by appending templates.
