Lead Discovery Premium: Client error after updating to Lead Discovery Premium 3.7

After updating to Lead Discovery Premium 3.7 and updating the Spotfire client you could see this error after logging in:

Error message: Global and user services could not be initialized. The application will close.

This can be resolved by removing a Lead Discovery  package from the server deployment area

Search for lead discovery in the Software packages and remove the Lead Discovery package that is of a lower version, in the screenshot below remove the Lead Discovery 8.6.4.12 package and save the area
