ChemSketch: Export to SDF ChemBasic tool doesn’t support text fields

Description
When exporting structures from ChemSketch to SDF, using Sketch-To-SDF Converter ,  users notice that custom text labels (internal sample IDs, batch numbers) drawn on the canvas do not appear as SDF data fields. Only the structure, Formula, FW and the ID that corresponds to the page number may be exported, causing loss of important identifiers for downstream systems.

Solution

Sketch-To-SDF Converter has 2 limitations:

1. Canvas text (labels placed as free text around structures) is not exported as SDF fields via ChemBasic Goody.
2. If a list of structures is converted, each structure needs to be paced on a separate ChemSketch page.

To convert your structures along with explicit data items (property fields) associated with the structure, you can use full functionality in Spectrus DB or other external SDF converters.
