By default, any changes you make in ESMC will show up in Luminata after 60 minutes. If you want these updates to appear sooner, follow the steps below to adjust your permissions.
Solution
- Run ESMC as administrator and connect to the database.
- To apply updates immediately, go to the Users and Groups tab, right-click on a blank area, and select Refresh.
- To change refresh time, right-click on the server name > Authentication… > Custom (Using Script) > change value in Scan Users/Groups Every (in seconds).
- To modify refresh intervals, right-click on the server name, select Authentication…, then Custom (Using Script), and change the value in Scan Users/Groups Every (in seconds).
- Close the Authentication Options window.
If you're using LDAP server or Microsoft Entra ID (Azure ID) authentication rather than custom scripts, choose those methods and look for the ‘Scan Users/Groups every 3600 seconds’ setting.
The same field, Scan Users/Groups Every xx seconds, is present for all authentication types.
