If you are experiencing issues with your Spectrus Database or C+H NMR Predictor database—such as compatibility errors, freezing during include/exclude operations, or corrupted quality metrics—this may indicate underlying database corruption.
This article explains how to identify and repair a corrupted database.
Solution:
- Launch the Spectrus DB or C+H NMR Predictors and DB application.
- Ensure that no databases are currently open. To close an open database, go to the Database menu and select Close.

- From the Database menu, navigate to Tools → Repair.

- In the dialog that appears, select the affected database and click Open.

- The repair process will start automatically. Please wait until it completes.
- Verify the result.
