Spectrus: Displays Positive Ionization (API+) for Both ESI Traces in Agilent .D Data

When Agilent data containing both positive and negative MS spectra is imported into Spectrus Processor, both traces may be displayed as API+ if the polarity metadata is not available in the imported dataset. Polarity information is stored in the Agilent method file (Run.M) and may not be included in exported .D data. When this metadata is missing, Spectrus Processor cannot determine the original ionization mode and may therefore label both traces as positive (API+). To ensure that positive and negative ionization modes are correctly identified and displayed, data should be transferred using the ACD/OpenLab CDS Add-On, which preserves the polarity information during conversion.

Use the ACD/OpenLab CDS Add-On to export the data. The Add-On converts OpenLab data into the native .spectrus format while preserving polarity metadata, ensuring that positive and negative ionization modes are correctly identified and displayed in Spectrus.
