ChemDraw: Unexpected results when when sending structures to MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc)

If you are experiencing issues exporting to Microsoft from ChemDraw or other applications like ChemFinder for Office or even editing structures in Microsoft products like Word, Excel or Powerpoint, the issue might be caused by a known Microsoft Security Update.

The solution until Microsoft fixes the problem is uninstalling the update. 

Follow these steps to safely remove the patch and prevent it from causing issues on your system: 

1. Open the Settings app (press Windows Key + I). 
2. Navigate to Windows Update

3.  Then Navigate to Windows Update > Update history. 

4.  Scroll down and click on Uninstall updates.

 5.  Locate KB5094126 in the list, click Uninstall, and then restart your PC.

Note: Windows Security Update KB5094126, is a mandatory security patch release, your PC may automatically attempt to reinstall it.
