Signals Notebook: Why does the API endpoint GET /entities/{eid}/children not return all child entities?

The GET /entities/{eid}/children API returns child entities in paginated results. If the response contains a next link, it indicates that additional child entities are available but have not yet been retrieved.

How to verify

Review the JSON response returned by the API. If you see a next link in the response, there are more pages of results that need to be fetched.

Resolution

Increase the page[limit] parameter in your API request (for example, use page[limit]=100 instead of the default 20) or continue retrieving subsequent pages using the next link until all child entities have been returned.
