ChemDraw: ChemDraw or ChemOffice License agreement button is not clickable

During the ChemDraw or ChemOffice installation in Windows, the agree button is grayed out in the license agreement page.

Solution:

The first step is to make sure that you scroll all the way to the end of the license agreement for the button to become clickable.

If that does not work, please follow the steps below to resolve the problem:

1. Move the installer file to your computer's Desktop and create a new folder on your Desktop:
   1. For v22 and earlier: name the folder COSxx (where xx is the version number, e.g., COS22)
   2. For v23 and later: name the folder ChemDraw26 (or the relevant version number)
2. Right-click the installer file (for example: cos22.0.exe for older versions or ChemDraw_26.1.0 for newer versions) and select "Run as Administrator"
3. When the wizard asks where to extract the files, click Browse and select the folder you created in Step 1, then click OK (The screenshot here shows the extraction wizard with a Browse button to select the destination folder on the Desktop)

     4. Once extraction is complete, close the installation wizard and open the folder you created on your  Desktop

     5. Navigate to the MSI installers:

     6. For v22 and earlier: browse to \PerkinElmer\ChemOffice\ and run both MSI installers

    7.  For v23 and later: browse to \RevvitySignalsSoftware\ChemDraw\ and run both MSI installers

    8. Launch ChemDraw as an Administrator

    9. If prompted for activation:

• Enter your Name and Email address
• Copy and paste your Activation Code into the activation code field
• Click Activate
