ChemDraw: When applying the hotkeys for increasing the bond length, some ChemDraw structures have disproportionate bond length.

When applying the hotkeys for increasing the bond length, some ChemDraw structures have disproportionate bond length.

Solution:

The “0” hotkey over a secondary carbon gives a “long” carbon bond. 

This is in case you have to draw crowded substituted biphenyl systems (for example).

Pressing “1” shows a regular-sized bond.
