CBOE Inventory Loader - Loading Structures into existing containers

Details: In order to load structures (compounds from Registration) into existing containers, your data file must contain columns with:

• the Reg Number from Registration
  
• the container barcode
• location id (You can also provide a fixed location ID on the mapping) - If the location barcode is L1032, then the value on the file needs to be only 1032.
• any other required fields for container creation (amount, project etc)

On Inventory Loader, login, then select:

You can ignore this message since the structures are being brought from Registration and not from the file:

We recommend selecting the second option if you don't have gaps in your data file:

In the following mapping screen, make sure you map the barcode, regnumber and location columns to the Barcode and Compound Name and Location Barcode fields:

It's highly recommended to save your mapping before clicking Next on this screen.

Clicking next will cause Inventory Loader to validate the data on the file meaning any non existing containers will throw an error and force you to remove them from the file before proceeding.

The file is read only while open in Inventory Loader so you must close the application, edit the file and start over.

The next screen will allow you to create a Log (Highly recommended)

Click Next to begin the operation, any errors will be logged to your selected location.
