CBOE: ChemACX configuration Error with ELN Integration

When trying to use ChemACX integration with E-Notebook, you may observe the following error:

The database connection to the ChemACX integration is defined in the following file:

C:\Program Files\RevvitySignalsSoftware\COWSWebService\Web.Config

Find the datasource tag in the xml configuration, usually towards the bottom of the file near line 120.

Depending on the configuration of the Oracle instance, you may need to edit the data source descriptor and replace SERVICE_NAME with SID:

(DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=tcp)(HOST=WIN-9BLCV021K6Q)(PORT=1521))(CONNECT_DATA=(SERVICE_NAME=csdb)))

Ensure the hostname and port are correct, save the file and recycle the app pool or perform an IISRESET.
