On October 31, 2025, Spotfire is officially ending support for version 12.0 LTS of the Spotfire product family. This includes the following products:
- Spotfire Analyst
- Spotfire Automation Services
- Spotfire Business Author
- Spotfire Consumer
- Spotfire Developer
- Spotfire Qualification
- Spotfire Server
- Spotfire Statistics Services
Note: For Spotfire Statistics Services, this announcement means the end of support announcement for the last remaining version of the Spotfire Statistics Services server specifically. The Spotfire Statistics Services server has been replaced with the functionality provided by the data function services (Spotfire Enterprise Runtime for R - Server Edition, Spotfire Service for R and Spotfire Service for Python), which continue to support data functions in Spotfire.. For more information on this, please refer to the Spotfire Statistics Services Migration Guide.
The purpose of this notification is to officially communicate this retirement and request that you migrate, as soon as possible, to a supported release of the product.
Check the Product Download site (https://edelivery.tibco.com) for the most recent release when planning your upgrade. As part of your upgrade planning, please make sure to determine what type of release - Long Term Support (LTS) or Innovation (non-LTS) - best suits your needs. Please refer to the following page for more information about this:

Until the retirement date, Support will answer product questions, however product updates will not be provided. After the retirement date has been reached, new cases reported against the retired release(s) will no longer be accepted and existing cases under investigation will be closed.
Available hotfixes and knowledge base articles will continue to be available to all customers with product maintenance beyond the retirement date.
To ensure that you receive future retirement notices, make sure to subscribe to them in the Support Portal in the following way:
1. Login to the Support Portal (https://support.tibco.com)
2. In the upper right corner, under the menu item with your name, select "Product Interests and Knowledge Base Subscriptions"
3. Click “Manage Products” and select the products of interest to you
4. Select the types of notifications you want to receive.
5. Click “Save Interests” at the bottom of the page.
