User gets Error Locking For Writing error in the Query Mode in E-Notebook

When User navigates to “Simple Text Query”, he sees some data entered already in the “Text Field” and does not let User remove the same when User attempts to remove the below error is displayed:

Sorry, changes made to the text query of section “Simple Text Query” of criteria of section “Query” of collection search “Search” may not be saved because the text query of subsection “Simple Text Query” of criteria of section “Query” cannot be modified.

Ok

This happens on only one particular user and on a particular machine.

Solution:

Quick Workaround:

Save the search using “Save Search..” button in the user’s homepage; then from the homepage, User can remove the existing text, add new text to search.

Permanent Solution:

The solution is to delete the 'Search' in “ 'User Configuration folder' --> 'Tasks' --> 'Search'”. by right-clicking and selecting delete, save, refresh; then adding it (Collection Search) again and renaming it as 'Search'.

If the end User has no permission to delete the 'Search', administrator can delete the same for the User and User can add the search again.
