Autosave interval

What is the default ‘Autosave time’ inside ELN?

If I manually change it, would this affect the performances?

Is data automatically saved by default?

If you mean collection's Autosave interval - by default it's not set.

Data is not automatically saved by default. The only occasion when everything is saved is on hitting Save button, otherwise the changes are not saved, unless you specify the autosave interval. In that case it will save every time that the autosave period passes. 

We haven't heard yet any performance-related complaints from any customer who had this setting enabled.
