For Administrators only.

Prior to this task:

✔ A Contract Research Organization must be created.

✔ A Department must be created and added to the CRO.

*Required.

Supporting Knowledge

Collaborations are the secure space for Sponsors and CROs to work together on associated Work Orders and Experiments. Permissions and access are tightly controlled with Collaborations.

Alternatively, a Collaboration can be created from the CRO Details page by selecting Collaborations from the CRO Details pane. From the Collaboration Settings page, steps 2–4 are then performed as previously noted.

Note: When Global Auto-numbering is enabled, the name is automatically populated and cannot be edited.

Additional or different fields may be seen under 3️⃣ Create Collaboration. It depends on what has been set by the administrator.

Sending a Collaboration is the final step to make it active with a CRO.

1️⃣ Signals Synergy Configuration ➡ select [Collaborations]
2️⃣ Collaborations section ➡ select [Create Collaboration]
3️⃣ Create Collaboration ➡ type/select Name* Description Internal Description (Hidden to CRO) Internal Name (Hidden to CRO) Assign Internal User Groups* Assign CRO Assign CRO Departments
4️⃣ Create Collaboration ➡ select [Create]
5️⃣ Collaborations section ➡ select [Send]
