Supporting Knowledge
Available Signing Settings:
- Prompt all users for their password before signing: To mandatory prompt the users to confirm their identities by entering their Signals Notebook credentials before completing the signing process.
- Require compliance completion before signing: To mandatory have users run the CRAIS checker before signing experiments.
- Require compliance pass before signing: To avoid users from signing experiments if the CRAIS checker shows any irregularity.
- Require chemical samples to match the originating reactants or products before signing: To notify and avoid the users from signing an experiment when the reactant or product used to create a sample has changed.
- Require chemical samples to match entries in the Material Library or an external database before signing: To notify and avoid the users from signing an experiment when the reactant or product used to create a sample has changed in a Material Library/external database.
Available CRO Signing Settings:
- Allow CRO to Sign and add CRO Reviewers: The Synergy Experiment can be signed by the CRO Manager/user using the provided checkbox, and additional CRO Department Managers can be added as reviewers. Their review must be completed before the Synergy Experiment can be submitted to the Sponsor.
- Allow CRO to sign and submit without CRO Review: To allow the CRO to submit without having the synergy experiment reviewed.
- Use this signing statement for the CRO: The statement written in the box will be displayed when the document is signed by the CRO.
- Allow CRO to submit without signing: Allows the CRO to submit the Synergy Experiment without signing. The state of the Synergy Experiment will now update to ‘Submitted’.
- Require CRO to comment when signing:
- Use predefined comments for CRO: Predefined comments will be available to users as drop-down options.
- Sign and Add CRO Reviewers: Comment options can be added or deleted when the "Sign and add CRO Reviewers" option is selected.
- Sign and Submit: Comment options can be added or deleted when the "Sign and Submit" option is selected.
Available Sponsor Signing Settings:
- Allow Sponsor to skip CRO review and submit:
- Allow Sponsor to Void: To enable the Void signature option for Sponsors.
- Allow Sponsors to sign and add reviewers: To enable the Sign and Add Reviewers signature option.
- Allow Sponsor to sign and close without review: To enable the Sign and Close option.
- Allow Sponsor to close without signing: To enable the Close option.
- Require Sponsor to Comment when Signing: to require comment upon signing. comment can be predefined or free text.
- Use predefined comments for CRO: Predefined comments will be available to users as drop-down options.
- Sign and Add Reviewers: Comment options can be added or deleted when the "Sign and add Reviewers" option is selected.
- Sign and Close: Comment options can be added or deleted when the "Sign and Close" option is selected.
Notes:
If only one Synergy Experiment is assigned to fulfill the Work Order, then when the Synergy Experiment is transitioned to 'In CRO Review', the Work Order will also be transitioned to 'In CRO Review'. The associated Work Order will continue to be displayed in the 'In Progress' column of the Kanban board, but the status will be shown as 'In CRO Review'.
A notification will be sent to the CRO Reviewer upon login when an item is made available for review, where options to Edit Reviewers, Reject and Reopen, or Accept and Review can be selected. The state of the Synergy Experiment will be updated to 'Submitted' once it has been accepted and reviewed.
