Users could not log into Spectrus JS, receiving authentication errors. Investigation suggested credential or directory sync issues (e.g., LDAP/Keycloak) potentially related to changed service account credentials. The issue was resolved after correcting an internal account problem within the customer’s network.
Solution
- Verify whether service account credentials used for LDAP/Keycloak integration have changed and update them if necessary.
- Confirm directory synchronization to Keycloak is functioning and that users/groups are being pulled correctly from LDAP/AD.
- Review relevant logs for errors (e.g., processing-YYYY-MM.log and keycloak.log) in typical directories such as E:\spjs_data\keycloak and E:\spjs_data\zathras.
- After correcting internal account or credential issues, retest user authentication to Spectrus JS.
- If errors persist, schedule troubleshooting during support hours and provide log files for analysis.
