Data exchange is a Signals Synergy that allows unstructured data transformation from standard excel reports to Synergy standardized experiment data. Excel Reports can often have issues like misspellings, inconsistent nomenclature, blank headers, and unsupported abbreviations leading to misunderstandings, data issues or loss. What the Data Exchange does is to cross-reference parameter naming conventions, automatically validate entries against established catalogs, and enforce consistent formatting across tables. It eliminates the common parsing errors that occur with manual data entry and/or inconsistent nomenclature.
Signals Synergy provides an Assay catalog with the organization's most common reports and offers a way to standardize them before delivery to sponsor. To help further simplify and speed up transformations, Signals Synergy includes an assay catalog with most common reports to record results. The Sponsor and Administrator enable those for access level. Once a report has been uploaded, the Data Exchange tool will validate it against the expected format present in the catalog of reports.
