As a CRO Admin, you play a crucial role in ensuring that CRO users can access necessary resources and collaborate effectively with Sponsors.
You will be responsible for:
- Access Management: Your primary responsibility is ensuring that the right people have the right access at the right time.
- License Allocation: Understand that your organization has a fixed number of licenses determined by the Sponsor Manager. These licenses are a valuable resource that must be strategically allocated.
- User Lifecycle Management: You will handle all aspects of user administration, including adding new users to the system, managing department assignments, updating user information when roles change, and deactivating accounts when team members leave the organization. Complete lifecycle management ensures system security and optimal resource utilization.
- User–Department Relationship: Users can belong to multiple departments simultaneously. This flexibility allows team members to contribute to various projects as needed.
- Role Hierarchy: Within departments, users can be either Members or Managers. Department Managers have additional permissions, including work order management and experiment review capabilities.
- Sponsor-Defined Structure: While Collaborations and Departments are created by Sponsors, your role is to populate these predefined structures with appropriate users.
