A Reference Table is a Work Order information item. Reference tables are exclusively populated by Sponsors with designs and chemical structures. The contents of Reference Tables may comprise lists of materials, designs, or batches pertinent to the Work Order.
When a Reference Table appears in a Work Order, it typically indicates that the listed compounds need synthesis or processing. For complete context, as a manager always review any attachments, instructions, and the selected work order type to understand the full scope of the requested work.
It is important to note that CRO Users are not authorized to modify the contents of Reference Tables; their interaction is primarily limited to viewing the provided lists and referencing them in Synergy Experiments.

Chemical Structures from the Work Order Reference Table can be easily added by the CRO user as Chemical Drawings using the Quick Add toolbar and to certain table cells using the [magnifying glass] icon.
Samples Tables contain a unique table setting accessible via the [gear] icon to add a W.O. Reference column, allowing the CRO to relate a sample to a requested design or material in the Work Order Reference Tables.
