Description
- A reporting or BI tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, internal dashboards) is connected to Katalyst’s underlying database.
- Some experiments or fields visible in Katalyst do not appear in reports.
- Reports may rely on views, ETL processes, or cached datasets.
Solution
- Determine the data source:
- Confirm which database, view, or API the external reporting tool uses (e.g., direct Spectrus DB tables, reporting views, or an ETL‑populated warehouse).
- Check refresh schedules:
- Ensure ETL jobs or cache refresh processes run successfully and on schedule.
- Examine logs for recent ETL errors or partial loads.
- Validate data model:
- Confirm that new experiments or fields are included in the data model or views consumed by the BI tool.
- Update views or mappings if new tables/columns were introduced in recent Katalyst versions.
- After adjustments:
- Trigger a manual refresh of the dataset.
- Verify that the missing experiments now appear in the reports.
