Description
- In the Analysis Workspace, some wells show multiple analytical runs that appear to be duplicates:
- Same acquisition time or very close timestamps.
- Same file name or slightly different variants.
- Users are unsure which run to use, and reporting may double‑count results.
Solution
- Identify why duplicates exist:
- Check whether the instrument sequence was run multiple times for the same plate/well.
- Verify if the same raw data file was processed more than once (e.g., re‑queued into scan path).
- Remove or de‑emphasize unneeded runs:
- Where supported, mark one run per well as the “primary” or “accepted” run.
- Optionally hide or flag other runs as secondary or invalid.
- For reporting:
- Configure review tables and exports to select only the accepted/primary run per well.
