Katalyst: Error when deleting plates that still have analytical data attached

Description

• A user tries to delete a reaction or analysis plate from an experiment.
• Katalyst reports an error or refuses to delete the plate.
• The plate still has analytical data or references from other objects (e.g., review tables, processing results).

Solution

• Confirm whether analytical data is attached:
  • Open the Analysis Workspace and check if any wells on the plate have chromatograms/spectra.
  • Look for references to this plate in review/summary tables.
• Safe cleanup steps:
  • If data is not needed, remove or detach analytical runs from the plate (where supported).
  • Clear any references to the plate from dependent objects (e.g., remove it from review tables or reports).
  • Attempt plate deletion again.
• If data must be preserved:
  • Do not delete the plate; instead:
    • Hide or mark it as deprecated (if such a status exists).
    • Or create a new experiment with the desired plate configuration and move forward there.
