Description
- Users open experiments frequently but:
- Do not see some of them appear in the “Recent” or “Recently Viewed” list.
- Or only a subset appears, making it harder to return to frequently used experiments.
Solution
- Understand “Recent” behavior:
- Stores a limited number of items (e.g., last 15 opened experiments).
- Some interactions (e.g., read‑only views, intermediate states) may not count as “viewing” for the recent list.
- If an experiment doesn’t appear:
- Confirm it was fully opened in a regular view (not just in a background link or partial load).
- Try closing and reopening to see if it then appears.
- Limitations:
- If the allowed number of recent is small, older items will drop off as new ones are opened.
- Some versions may not track recent across devices/browsers.
- Workarounds:
- Encourage users to use saved searches/filters or bookmarks for important experiments.
- Consider feature requests for:
- Larger or user‑configurable “Recent” lists.
