Katalyst:  Workflow guidance to ensure peaks are correctly named

Description

Users encounter issue when data is attached, Katalyst does not correctly name or assign peaks to materials/products, requires additional reprocessing.

Solution

To improve peak naming/assignment:

• Confirm that all relevant materials (starting materials, reagents, products) are:
  • Defined with correct molecular weight and structure.
  • Added to the Reaction and Analysis plates, even with zero amount if necessary.
• Check analysis template:
  • Mass tolerances and adducts appropriate for instrument and ionization.
  • Internal standard or product‑mass settings correctly configured.
