Description
- A user uses Katalyst’s search or experiment list filters (by ID, title, project, or date) and sees “no experiments found”.
- The experiment is known to exist and is visible to other users (e.g., admins).
Solution
- Check search/filter criteria:
- Clear any restrictive filters (e.g., date ranges, status filters, project filters).
- Ensure the correct project or environment is selected (dev vs prod).
- Confirm permissions:
- Verify that the user has access to the project where the experiment resides.
- Ensure they are part of the correct group/role.
- Search by exact KAT ID if known:
- This is less sensitive to title or metadata differences.
- If the experiment still does not appear:
- Check whether it has been archived, moved, or renamed.
- Ask an admin to open the experiment and verify its current project and visibility settings.
- Once the underlying issue is fixed (permissions or filters):
- Confirm the user can search and find both the specific experiment and other expected experiments.
